About Us

CONSUMER is a non-profit organization founded in 1990 with the goal of providing consumers with the highest quality financial education and counseling services. Our organization is affiliated with the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC), which ensures CONSUMER accreditation, counselor certification, financial integrity, and other fundamental policies that ensure quality of service for all of our clients.

We are accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Families and Children, Inc. (COA), an entity that monitors and validates the quality of services provided to clients. Since our founding in 1990, we have helped thousands of consumers of all nationalities regain control of their personal finances. There have been many who have benefited from our educational programs managing to acquire their first home, balance their budgets, rehabilitate their credit and regain peace of mind by being able to meet all their economic obligations.
